The brief
“The Silent Dunes” is conceived as a profound escape into the vast, untouched landscapes of Chad. The concept celebrates silence as a rare and powerful luxury, inviting guests to disconnect from the noise of the world and reconnect with the immensity of the desert. It transforms the destination into a contemplative journey, where solitude, nature, and introspection become the essence of the experience.
The architecture embraces a minimalist and grounded language, designed to merge seamlessly with the dunes. Low-profile structures, natural materials, and warm, earthy tones echo the surrounding environment, allowing the landscape to remain the true protagonist. Spaces are carefully positioned to frame horizons, capture light, and create moments of stillness, while maintaining privacy and a deep sense of immersion.
